Sharmin Rahman model writer NYC NYU Los Angeles

Sharmin is a writer and model. She graduated from NYU's MFA program in fiction, where she received the Goldwater Writing Fellowship. She is represented by State Management in LA and NYC.

She serves as the Web Editor for Washington Square Review and has previously worked in the print editorial department at BOMB Magazine. In addition to her editorial work, she serves as a National Reviewer for the YoungArts Foundation’s annual competition.

Her work appears in Current Affairs Magazine, Meadowlark Review, Moon City Review and The Dublin Review. Her short story “Artificial Intelligence” was nominated for the 2023 Pushcart Prize.
